Head coach Quique Sanchez Flores couldn’t have been quicker to praise the contribution of goalkeeper Huerelho Gomes following Saturday’s game against West Bromwich Albion.

Making the trip to The Hawthorns to face off against Tony Pulis’ side, Watford took the one nil victory courtesy of a Ben Watson goal just before the half hour mark.

The clear Man of the Match was Gomes though, and he continued his form of the campaign really by pulling off another number of top, top saves across the 90 minutes.

The two penalties were pretty special as well.

Kind of expect it really now don’t you – Flores does – but that wasn’t going to stop him heaping praise on the stopper.

He was also pleased with the three points, but that probably went without saying.
