Coventry City manager Micky Adams gave his reaction to his side?s 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Watford at Vicarage Road.

The Sky Blues? chief lamented his team?s defending from set pieces in the second half and the amount of injuries that the club has. Adams told Coventry?s official site ?They put us to the sword in the second half,? admitted Adams. ?We are disappointed to concede goals from set pieces but we, as a football club, have got to be playing at full tilt and if we don?t we?re in trouble.?

Adams also acknowledged the difficulty of traveling to Fortress Vicarage Road particularly without a fully-fit squad. ?We have got two of our better players out and without them it?s a difficult job. ?It was also going to be difficult coming to Watford,? said the former Brighton, Swansea, Fulham and Leicester manager.

And indeed it was.
