Watford have only 9 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Premier League.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Watford find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in 15th place in the Premier League table on 40 points, whilst relegation remains mathematically possible so is a solid top ten finish.
With Watford now on a run of three straight defeats, the coming fixtures certainly don’t get any easier in reality but sitting on 40 points we do only need one more point to be mathematically safe from the drop but with Crystal Palace facing Hull City, anything less than a Hull victory would see them unable to catch us.
But with a top ten finish on the cards that has to be the aim and although the gap to the relegation spots is now six points, we do have a game in hand to consider as well.
