After weeks and weeks of speculation the ‘will he, won’t he’ drama that has swept across the VitalWatford Tower has finally come to end…

Hameur Bouazza has left Watford and joined Fulham in a deal worth £4m (£3m upfront with £1m in add ons).

So Lawrie Sanchez has finally got his man. The redtops were right and we can all move on.

The ‘Good Ship Boothroyd’ told the official Watford site ‘Sometimes you have to weight up the money on offer and the value a player brings to the squad, who might not necessary play each and every week’.

As a product of Watford’s youth programme, the Bouazza transfer is a good bit of business for the club. His new agent has a tidy sum in his back pocket and Hameur is back where he thinks he belongs.

The Algerian made 101 appearances over a host of seasons at the Vic scoring 13 goals.

Good luck Bou…but boy with a such a large price tag around your ankles you sure are gonna need it.
