With speculation the other week about an offer from Premier League Champions Leicester City for Troy Deeney, and that offer being knocked back, apparently this weekend they came back in with a bigger offer for the player, and Watford have again told them where to go.

The Watford Observer carry the report saying that it’s believed manager Claudio Ranieri continues to be keen on our skipper as he looks to strengthen ahead of next season’s Champions League campaign for them, and that they came back with an improved offer of £25million.

That offer too though has been rejected with Watford adamant that the 27 year old will continue to ply his trade at Vicarage Road in the future.

Of course with a four year deal still to run, Watford can play hard ball here.

Whether Leicester will come back with a further improved offer or not, some outlets are suggesting that an offer in the region of £32million could well be the sum where Watford consider dealing.

However those claims seem to be based on a Leicester Mercury report, and whilst they suggest that, it’s not based on anything you can hand your hat on.
