Gaffer: Former ‘Orn, Keith Millen took the reigns last season after Steve Coppell mysteriously retired from football after just two games.

Millen steered the ship to safety impressively in his debut campaign in the hotseat and will be looking to kick-on this term.

10/11 Position: A very respectable 15th after an incredibly tough start.

In:
Neil Kilknenyy (free transfer) and Yannick Bolasia (Plymouth Argyle, undisc.).

Out: Stephen Henderson (free transfer), John Akinde (Crawley Town, undisc.) and Ivan Sproule (free transfer).

Star Man: Undoubtedly the goal-machine that is Nicky Maynard, who the Robins had to do without for a frustrating amount of last season due to injury.

Signed from Crewe for £2.25m in 2008, Maynard has set about repaying that fee well with 37 league strikes from 85 league starts for the club.

Pacey and blessed with superb finishing ability, the 24 year-old boasts a league strike record of very nearly one in two.

Best Business: Though they won’t be sure of it until September 1st, keeping the aforementioned Maynard so far is good news for the Robins.

If Millen can hold onto the talented forward he will have a powerful weapon in his locker who (if fit this term), will spearhead his attack. Fighting off the advances of Leicester City amongst others remains crucial.

Prediction: The West Country outfit will miss Steven Caulker who impressed on loan from Spurs last season and if they lose Maynard they are in for a struggle. However the squad is more than good enough to hold their own in mid-table again.
